Tonight is a special evening for her.
After the Royal Palace, a traditional dance show, now it’s 9:30pm and she’s still awake!
In her village in Kampong Chhnang life is very different.
Everything started a few days before when she left her province to get a treatment in a hospital.
The doctors did their best to diagnose her sickness but with all the stress that was a bit too much for her…
That’s where love can do miracles.
For a week she could enjoy good food, care, massage and fun!
It was decided to give her some ‘happy memories’ before going back to her village.
The perfect place for this was the Royal Palace!
After eating some fried frogs as aperitif in front of it, we all went to a fantastic traditional Dance Show. There were some stars above our heads and our eyes were shining also…
When the performance was over, we were all very hungry.
A good pizzeria was still opened and we were delighted to see our Grandmother eating the 1st pizza of her life with appetite and a smile in the corner of her mouth!
On our way home (in the Tuk Tuk), we realized that we had shared a precious moment even if our culture and ages were so different.
Medicine can heal but LOVE can do miracles!
‘I was sick and you looked after me‘ (Matthew 25:36)
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:40)
